MY FAVORITE ACTIVITIES
Being in the woods, breathing in the fresh air, and watching the chipmunks run around is what I love to do. I shot my first elk when I was 13 years-old, and have shot two black tail deer since. Proud to be a female hunter.
I was on my high school varsity golf team for three years. My junior and senior years of high school, I made it to the district match. I still enjoy going to the range to hit a basket of balls, or playing a round on the course.
I took riding lessons for about a year in eighth grade, and decided that I really loved trail riding. My dream was always to compete in a barrel race, but that was never achieved. In my senior year of college, I’ve gotten back into riding through a beginning to western equestrian class. This picture is of the horse I ride in class, Romeo.
I tend to stay on groomed runs, unless there’s a great layer of fresh powder. My first ski experiences were on my dad’s back in a kid carrier while he skied down the hill. My home mountain is Mount Baker, but I’ve also skied at Schweitzer Mountain and Bridger Bowl.
